J.W. Sexton 40th Class Reunion
Forty years of Big Reds — one room, one night. Thank you for coming.
Thank you, Big Reds
Our 40th Class Reunion is behind us. Thank you to every classmate who made the trip, to everyone who brought a spouse, a story, or a photo album, and to the classmate volunteers on the reunion committee who spent months getting the room, the food, and the night itself ready.
Forty years is a long time to be apart. The point of this website was never a single evening every ten years — it is what we do with the connection now that we have it back. The Class Community pages, the memorial pages, Big Reds Give Back, and the class scholarship are all open and waiting for you.
What the night included
- Dinner
- A DJ — all our music, all night
- A Memorial Moment honoring the Big Reds we’ve lost
Have photos from the night?
Use the photo form further down this page to upload them. Class volunteers review every photo before anything is published.
About the Memorial Moment
Part of the evening was set aside to remember the classmates, teachers, and Big Red family members we have lost. Our memorial pages carry that on year-round — if there is someone you would like remembered, that is the place to share them.
Photos from the night
Pictures from August 15, 2026, added a few at a time as classmates send them in and class volunteers review them. Check back — this gallery will keep growing.
Send your reunion photos
Upload what you took on August 15 and we will add it to the gallery above. You can attach more than one file at a time. Class volunteers review every photo before it is published, and you can ask us to take one down at any time.
Big Reds, then and now
Classmates and Big Reds gathering together over the years — from graduation day to reunions and get-togethers since.
What comes next
Reunions are every ten years. Everything else on this site runs all year: jobs and opportunities, the Big Red Exchange, classmate businesses, the memorial pages, the Big Reds Give Back service project, and the developing class scholarship.
Questions? Want to help?
The reunion was planned by classmate volunteers on the reunion committee. Questions about the night, a photo you would like added or removed, or an offer to pitch in on what comes next — all go to the same place.
Missed it this time?
Join the class email list on the Stay Connected page and you will hear about the photos as they go up — and about every gathering that comes next.
