The Class of 1986 alumni community website
Hey Big Reds - here we are - 40 years since we walked the halls together in our beautiful community built with love - JW Sexton High School. I built this website to accomplish several things - to reconnect our class in a way that communicates to everyone, even those that "don't do" social media. I also want to do some good. I want us to build community with service projects that we decide on as a class, I want us to help each other find work or help our kids find work with fellow Big Reds. I want us to share items that we may not need anymore and may help our classmates and their families get through some challenging financial times, or help with our kids moving to new places and needing a few things. We will be able to post about our classmates that we lose along the way, and memorialize our teachers and classmates, and keep our Facebook page from being the only source of sympathies. I'd love to build a scholarship program that represents the amazing class of 1986, and the website will now allow us to donate to the causes we believe in and the scholarship program if we choose to. We are not simply getting together this year - we will be building a new future of service, support, kindness, and love for each other, and our community. See you all soon - Mark.
